Verses about Allah response to Christians

Say, ‘ He is Allah, [who is] One,

So she pointed to him. They said, ‘ How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?’

And they say, ‘ The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son.’

Say, ‘ Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed.’

[He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing.

Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This is a straight path.’

Say, [O Muhammad], ‘ If the Most Merciful had a son, then I would be the first of [his] worshippers.’

Say, [O Muhammad], ‘ If the home of the Hereafter with Allah is for you alone and not the [other] people, then wish for death, if you should be truthful.

And they say, ‘ None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.’ That is [merely] their wishful thinking, Say, ‘ Produce your proof, if you should be truthful.’

They say, ‘ Allah has taken a son.’ Exalted is He! Rather, to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. All are devoutly obedient to Him,

They say, ‘ Be Jews or Christians [so] you will be guided.’ Say, ‘ Rather, [we follow] the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth, and he was not of the polytheists.’

Say, [O Muhammad], ‘ Do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord? For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. And we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him.’

Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.’

Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, ‘ Be,’ and he was.

O People of the Scripture, why do you argue about Abraham while the Torah and the Gospel were not revealed until after him? Then will you not reason?

It is not for a human [prophet] that Allah should give him the Scripture and authority and prophethood and then he would say to the people, ‘ Be servants to me rather than Allah,’ but [instead, he would say], ‘ Be pious scholars of the Lord because of what you have taught of the Scripture and because of what you have studied.’

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed].

Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But we had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And We have instructed those who were given the Scripture before you and yourselves to fear Allah. But if you disbelieve - then to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And ever is Allah Free of need and Praiseworthy.

Never would the Messiah disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant - He will gather them to Himself all together.

Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion.

Say, ‘ O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?’

The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

Say, ‘ O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way.’

The Jews say, ‘ Ezra is the son of Allah ‘ ; and the Christians say, ‘ The Messiah is the son of Allah.’ That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?
