Say, [O Muhammad], ' Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you call upo-Quran Verses

40-Surah Ghafir ( The Forgiver God ) 66

Say, [O Muhammad], ‘ Indeed, I have been forbidden to worship those you call upon besides Allah once the clear proofs have come to me from my Lord, and I have been commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds.’

﴿66﴾۞ قُلْ إِنِّي نُهِيتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ الَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَمَّا جَاءَنِيَ الْبَيِّنَاتُ مِن رَّبِّي وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُسْلِمَ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Quran's Tafhim ( explanation)

*95) Hen again `ibadat (worship) and du `e (prayer) have ban used as synonyms .
