Verses from the Book of Allah on Goodness prevention Arranged in the order of the descent of the fence and accompanied by a simple interpretation, as well as with the possibility of listening to it

68-Surah Al-Qalam ( The Pen ) 10-16

And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer

﴿10﴾وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ

[And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip -

﴿11﴾هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّاءٍ بِنَمِيمٍ

A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful,

﴿12﴾مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

Cruel, moreover, and an illegitimate pretender.

﴿13﴾عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ زَنِيمٍ

Because he is a possessor of wealth and children,

﴿14﴾أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ

When Our verses are recited to him, he says, ‘ Legends of the former peoples.’

﴿15﴾إِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

We will brand him upon the snout.

﴿16﴾سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ

74-Surah Al-Muddaththir ( The One Enveloped ) 42-44

[And asking them], ‘ What put you into Saqar?’

﴿42﴾مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِي سَقَرَ

They will say, ‘ We were not of those who prayed,

﴿43﴾قَالُوا لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ الْمُصَلِّينَ

Nor did we used to feed the poor.

﴿44﴾وَلَمْ نَكُ نُطْعِمُ الْمِسْكِينَ

89-Surah Al-Fajr ( The Dawn ) 16-18

But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, ‘ My Lord has humiliated me.’

﴿16﴾وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلَاهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ

No! But you do not honor the orphan

﴿17﴾كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ

And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.

﴿18﴾وَلَا تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

107-Surah Al-Ma’un ( Small Kindnesses ) 1-7

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

﴿1﴾أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

﴿2﴾فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

﴿3﴾وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ

So woe to those who pray

﴿4﴾فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ

[But] who are heedless of their prayer -

﴿5﴾الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ

Those who make show [of their deeds]

﴿6﴾الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ

And withhold [simple] assistance.

﴿7﴾وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ

50-Surah Qaf ( The Letter Qaf ) 24-25

[Allah will say], ‘ Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever,

﴿24﴾أَلْقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ

Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter,

﴿25﴾مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيبٍ

70-Surah Al-Ma’arij (The Ways of Ascent ) 19-21

Indeed, mankind was created anxious:

﴿19﴾۞ إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا

When evil touches him, impatient,

﴿20﴾إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا

And when good touches him, withholding [of it],

﴿21﴾وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
