Verses about That upon you is responsibility for yourselves

And if they disobey you, then say, ‘ Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing.’

And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, ‘ For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant.’

Say, ‘ Each works according to his manner, but your Lord is most knowing of who is best guided in way.’

And if they deny you, [O Muhammad], then say, ‘ For me are my deeds, and for you are your deeds. You are disassociated from what I do, and I am disassociated from what you do.’

And do not send away those who call upon their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His countenance. Not upon you is anything of their account and not upon them is anything of your account. So were you to send them away, you would [then] be of the wrongdoers.

There has come to you enlightenment from your Lord. So whoever will see does so for [the benefit of] his soul, and whoever is blind [does harm] against it. And [say], ‘ I am not a guardian over you.’

But if they turn away - then We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], over them as a guardian; upon you is only [the duty of] notification. And indeed, when We let man taste mercy from us, he rejoices in it; but if evil afflicts him for what his hands have put forth, then indeed, man is ungrateful.

Say, ‘ Obey Allah and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon him is only that [duty] with which he has been charged, and upon you is that with which you have been charged. And if you obey him, you will be [rightly] guided. And there is not upon the Messenger except the [responsibility for] clear notification.’

O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is you return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.
