Verses about Too much swearing

Verses from the Book of Allah on Too much swearing Arranged in the order of the descent of the fence and accompanied by a simple interpretation, as well as with the possibility of listening to it

    68-Surah Al-Qalam ( The Pen ) 10

And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer
    16-Surah An-Nahl ( The Bees ) 92

And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.
    16-Surah An-Nahl ( The Bees ) 94

And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.
    2-Surah Al-Baqarah ( The Cow ) 224-225

And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuse against being righteous and fearing Allah and making peace among people. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
    24-Surah An-Noor ( The Light ) 22

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah, and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
    24-Surah An-Noor ( The Light ) 53

And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if you ordered them, they would go forth [in Allah ‘s cause]. Say, ‘ Do not swear. [Such] obedience is known. Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with that which you do.’
    63-Surah Al-Munafiqoon ( The Hypocrites ) 1-2

When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, ‘ We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah.’ And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
    58-Surah Al-Mujadilah ( She That Disputeth ) 14-16

Have you not considered those who make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear to untruth while they know [they are lying].

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.

They took their [false] oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah, and for them is a humiliating punishment.
    5-Surah Al-Maidah ( The Table spread with Food ) 89

Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] – then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful.
    9-Surah At-Taubah ( The Repentance ) 62

They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.
    9-Surah At-Taubah ( The Repentance ) 95-96

They will swear by Allah to you when you return to them that you would leave them alone. So leave them alone; indeed they are evil; and their refuge is Hell as recompense for what they had been earning.

They swear to you so that you might be satisfied with them. But if you should be satisfied with them – indeed, Allah is not satisfied with a defiantly disobedient people.
    9-Surah At-Taubah ( The Repentance ) 107

And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before. And they will surely swear, ‘ We intended only the best.’ And Allah testifies that indeed they are liars.
